Water Gremlin Employees Take the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. — JANUARY 28, 2023 — Water Gremlin's "Freezing Sinkers," employee team, including President Bradley Hartsell, raised thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Minnesota by plunging into the water through an opening cut into frozen White Bear Lake on January 28, 2023, as part of the annual Polar Plunge fundraiser. The team faced a temperature of 3 degrees with a 10+ mph breeze making the wind chill -11 degrees Fahrenheit. Special Olympics Minnesota offers athletic, health, leadership, and inclusive programs to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Minnesota will host the Special Olympics USA Games in June of 2026.
